Let’s get started.

Perhaps you know exactly what area of your house you’d like to start with. If not, we will begin by assessing your current household needs and identifying the areas that you’d like to prioritize. This could be any area of the house in which you’d love to feel more peaceful - kitchen pantry, linen closet, clothing wardrobe, bathroom.

Once we have pinpointed these priority zones, we will outline specific goals for each area. This may involve decluttering, establishing a designated space for items, and/or creating templates for online systems to help you keep track of everything - grocery lists, meal plans, etc. We even help create systems to help you track supplements, family help lists, autopay (we all have so many subscriptions), and so much more.

As we develop your customized plan, we will focus on creating systems that are easy to maintain. Choosing an approach that aligns with your habits is essential, ensuring that organization becomes a natural part of your daily routine. We can implement strategies for effective time management, such as prepping meals in advance or scheduling regular cleaning sessions, to enhance the efficiency of your household management.

Throughout this process, we will remain flexible. If your initial focus shifts or new priorities emerge, we can easily adjust the plan to accommodate your evolving needs. By approaching organization in a structured yet adaptable manner, we will simplify both meal preparation and overall household management, making your environment more enjoyable and functional.

Meet Meal Maven Mama

Want to know how my kitchen {she}nanigans began? It all started in kindergarten when a woman down the street invited the neighborhood kids over and, for 50cents, would offer us a cooking class! My friends would meet at my house, and we’d walk to cooking class, two quarters in our hand, ready to learn recipes such as Cupcakes in Cones, Homemade Tortillas, and lots more. By first grade, I was gifted an Easy Bake Oven. I felt so grown up baking my very own little cakes and cookies…until one day my cousins came over to play, and it caught on fire!

I didn’t let that stop me. Instead I kept cooking, learning to read recipes and create dishes for my family. Fast forward to Senior year of high school when the guys would call me and ask, “What’s for dinner?” Essentially, not much has changed since then. Okay, actually, a lot has changed!! I went to college, got married, started a business (Ecopiggy), had two natural home births, got divorced, re-partnered, added a new kid to the mix, blended our families into one house, experienced a pandemic, and now find myself here in this present moment…still cooking!

In October of 2020, Michael and I bought a home together and moved the headquarters of Ecopiggy to the same property. Our three children {2x 8 year olds, 1x 10 year old} were all doing distance hybrid learning, and it was a privilege to be able to be home, and support them through that. At the same time, I suddenly felt like I was CONSTANTLY in the kitchen; breakfast, cleanup, morning snack, cleanup, lunch, cleanup, afternoon snack, cleanup….you get my point. I was overwhelmed and I felt like I had no time to breathe, let alone keep up with the work of running my business. Something needed to change! Then, I remembered something I had shared with other mamas back when I was newly divorced.

Meal Plan and Meal Prep!!!! Two other mamas and I would come together and create meal plans. From there we would divide and conquer, then share the bounty with one another! IT. WAS. AMAZING! My fridge was always full of yummy and nutritious food! The stress of answering the question “What’s for breakfast/lunch/dinner?” was lifted.

Now, nearly six years later I find myself turning to Meal Planning and Meal Prepping each week. Some weeks, I Meal Prep on Sunday; other weeks I do it on Monday. It depends on weekend schedules of the kids, and my energy level. I keep it loose to avoid stressing myself. It’s meant to be supportive. And it is! We are all feeling the need for support these days, which is why I’ve started Meal Maven Mama. Join the club and receive some much needed support!
